I would personally like to invite you to join us at the new look, Lean Thinking and Practice Summit for 2019. This year we are re-thinking the Lean Thinking and Practice Summit for the Australian Lean community. We have moved the event from early winter to spring to signify the fresh thinking and new ideas that will characterise the event.
The Lean Thinking and Practice summit is renowned as a gathering of the Australasian lean leader and practitioner community, taking 2 days to mingle and work alongside a select group of inspirational, international experts. 2019 is no exception. Join us in Melbourne in November to hear from international speakers John Shook and Oriol Cuatrecasas and spend 2 days participating in learning experiences of your choice.
Whether you are a seasoned Lean professional or starting out; if you work in digital or energy; healthcare or mining; manufacturing or government – at the Lean Summit you will gain critical knowledge and a network of colleagues to ensure your personal lean journey is accelerated.
Unlike many conferences, the 2019 Summit is not an anxious parade of consultant sales pitches, keynotes and lectures from experts – it is a community-driven event, with the chance for every Australasian practitioner to lean in and present their stories of improvement. Can you share your lessons and approaches with the community? Consider taking the plunge and pitch your idea for consideration as a presentation, poster or part of facilitated learning session.
The Lean Summit is a celebration of a foundation of the lean movement – Lean People of Australia making their organisations better every day. The Summit emphasises delegate interaction, collaborative learning and gaining inspiration from new fields where Lean thinking is being applied to improve work and productivity with the many tools and techniques.
I hope to see you there.
