Tony is a Toyota Veteran and part of the foundational Toyota Australia Supplier Development Team supporting Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers to adopt the Toyota Production System.

Over the past 30 years Tony has developed a global reputation as an expert in Lean thinking and practice.  For two decades he has helped organizations, many multi nationals, throughout Australia and the broader Asia Pacific region to transition from traditional operating systems to lean principles.

A few of the more high-profile case studies that have reset industry standards come from Caterpillar  (Construction Equipment Manufacturing – Japan, China and Australia), Merck  (Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing – Singapore, China and Australia) and Nike  (Footwear Manufacturing – Vietnam, Indonesia, China, Korea, Taiwan).

In 2014 Tony accepted a position as the Regional Lean Director for Nike Footwear based in Singapore. He guided the deployment of Lean 2.0 – based on the Lean Global Network operating model of leadership, people and process.  He transitioned into the role of Regional Manufacturing Systems Engineering Director to leverage digital technology and drive performance improvement across the industry. Again, this reset the standard for this manufacturing sector.

IN 2024, Tony returned to Australia to support Lean Enterprise Australia and the Lean Global network to advance Lean Thinking and Practice and make things better for customers, teams and organisations.

Tony specializes in lean leadership, lean Systems to drive front line capability development, practical problem solving, deployment of a lean management system and the Toyota Production System.
